Editorial standard

Useful comparison requires visible evidence and visible incentives.

Here is how we decide what belongs, how we verify it, and how publishing by Diffie affects the directory.

01

Primary sources first

Product facts come from current vendor websites, documentation, pricing pages, help centers, and release notes. We link the most important sources on every profile.

02

No invented experience

A documentation review is not a hands-on benchmark. We do not claim to have run a tool unless the page explicitly describes the test, environment, and date.

03

Facts and assessments stay separate

Capabilities, public prices, and documented integrations are facts. Best-fit teams, strengths, and limitations are editorial assessments based on those facts.

04

No pay-to-rank positions

The searchable directory is alphabetical. Guide order reflects each page’s focus and is not sold to vendors. Sponsored placements are visually and semantically labeled.

Selection criteria

Why these tools are included

We include products that use AI materially in software QA or provide infrastructure and workflows buyers routinely compare with AI-native testing agents. A product must have enough current public information to write a useful, sourced profile.

  • Active product with public vendor documentation.
  • Relevant to web, mobile, API, visual, accessibility, performance, or managed QA workflows.
  • Enough distinct capability or operating-model value to help a buyer make a choice.
  • No requirement to pay, partner with, or link back to AI QA Tools.
Research process

How a profile is produced

  1. Map the product. Identify its authoring method, execution model, primary surfaces, integrations, pricing unit, and plan boundaries.
  2. Cross-check the claim. Prefer documentation over homepage copy and current pricing over third-party roundups.
  3. Write for a buyer. Translate capability lists into best-fit users, operational strengths, and concrete tradeoffs.
  4. Link the evidence. Give readers direct vendor sources so they can verify material claims and changes.
  5. Date the review. Every profile shares a visible fact-check date. Fast-moving pricing and beta features are flagged.
Commercial disclosure

AI QA Tools is published by Diffie

Diffie owns and funds this directory. Diffie is also one of the products listed and advertises on the site. That conflict is disclosed in the header context, footer, ads, Diffie cards, and the Diffie profile.

We do not describe the site as an independent lab, do not sell ranking positions, and do not hide sponsored links. The purpose of including alternatives and limitations is to make the site valuable even when Diffie is not the right product for a visitor.
